On the afternoon of January 6th, the Supreme People's Court International Maritime Judicial Shanghai Base Specially Invited Counselor Symposium was held in Shanghai Maritime Court, which aimed to hear opinions and suggestions on building a world-class maritime court and accelerating the construction of the international maritime justice center. Wang Tong, Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Maritime Court, presided over the symposium. Specially invited counselors from transportation authorities, maritime administrative agencies, shipping industry associations, scientific research institutions attended the conference online and on-site simultaneously.
Party members, bureau-level leaders and heads of various departments of Shanghai Maritime Court participated the symposium. At the symposium, the specially invited counselors based on their professional ablities and gave suggestions about entering a new stage of development, the positioning and function of Shanghai Maritime Court in the construction of an international maritime justice center, the promotion of international credibility and international influence of Shanghai Maritime Justice, and the construction of an international high-quality talent team.
